The surf school “Surfschule Fritz & Kids” is proof of the cult status enjoyed by windsurfing. Situated right on the edge of the lake, next to the lighthouse, the picturesque stilt hut is a place where you can feel the relaxed surfer vibe. Whether you want to try a trial course, wish to gain a basic certificate or simply rent material, everyone is welcome here, from the very young to the young-at-heart. On calm and still days, the school offers yoga courses on stand-up paddleboards

Westcoastkiters is the first port of call for kite surfing courses on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl. You are in the hands of experts from the off, and with our trainers communicating from a boat to radio helmets, learners are guaranteed to make rapid progress.   Individual coaching away from the masses, with plenty of space on the water, regardless of the direction in which the wind is blowing.

The school also offers equipment for hire or to buy.

Anyone wishing to kitesurf in Breitenbrunn must register with/be a member of the FKN (“Förderverein des Kitesurfsports Neusiedler See”), an association supporting the sport of kitesurfing on Lake Neusiedl.

At the Breitenbrunn sailing school, you can learn to sail or consolidate your knowledge. Our training courses are very practice-oriented and we’re out with you, sailing on the water, right from day one. In the afternoons, you can listen to our instructors as they teach the theoretical elements of sailing in a pleasant atmosphere. Our boat hire station is open from the start of April to the end of September. The Lakeside Sailing Club is pleased to present a new sailing concept for Breitenbrunn, one which epitomises a modern club. Its primary focus is the long-term and sustainable pursuit of sailing as a sport in Breitenbrunn. The aim of the club, which is equipped with modern infrastructure, is to offer all the amenities of a professional sports club, but without excluding other types of water sport.

It’s all happening at Windwerk! Whatever the wind conditions and whatever the weather, Windwerk has an activity to match. Stand-up paddleboarding and renting an e-bike are ideal pursuits for novices and seasoned athletes alike. Anyone wanting to really lift off should definitely give wing foiling a try. Skimming silently above the water on a board, this sport will allow you to discover Lake Neusiedl from a completely different perspective.

Besides the sporting activities on offer, Windwerk also organises regular get-togethers, whether at a summer film-screening, an evening BBQ with a musical backdrop or simply sitting with friends and watching picturesque sunsets.

RC Breitenbrunn offers experienced rowers an unparalleled rowing experience on Lake Neusiedl. Thanks to the boat park, rowing is possible in almost any conditions, whether that be in a racing boat on water that is as smooth as glass or in a coastal rower for when things get a little choppier. The club also offers rowing tours and training camps.   Beginner courses are available for anyone who wants to learn how to row.

Kayaking

Kayak over Lake Neusiedl, paddle through reed canals, discover the birdlife or simply glide into the sunset. Our club offers beginner courses as well as guided tours. Alternatively, you can use the boat park on an individual basis by taking out a day membership.

1 passion – 200 members. The sailor association has two missions, namely communal sailing and sailing events. It also represents the interests of sailors vis-à-vis the harbour operator.
